We visited the Botanical Garden when my Mom came to visit. It was so much fun! The ironic part is that my favorite part of the Botanical Garden is the art exhibit they have on display this summer, not the plants. It's so cool! The artist made a lot of colorful, fun, large, mosaic statues out of stones, glass, mirrors and other materials. Some of the statues are of animals that kids could actually climb on. I had fun watching Nayeli and Karyna climb on them. After we saw the art exhibits and explored the children's area, we let the girls run through a big water fountain. They had so much fun playing in the water! Here are some pictures of our visit.

Nayeli and Karyna loved posing for a picture with their Grandma in front of the Buddha Statue.

Nayeli was a little scared to be inside the "rain forest", but was okay as long as she was close by my side.

The floating glass decorations on the pond were one of my favorite things, although it wasn't so fun trying to keep the girls from getting in the water!

Karyna loved climbing up the animal statues, if only we could figure out how to get one of these in our backyard.

Nayeli had the most fun running through the fountains and hamming it up when I took a short movie.
